Stats
Strength: We're not a melee class so we don't care about melee damage. Ignore it.
Willpower: This increases your healing and your chance to disrupt magical attacks. Not highly important.
Weapon Skill: Increases chance to parry and armor penetration. I wouldn’t count on your parry ability, so don’t worry about this one either.
Initiative: Increases your chance to evade and reduces chance of being critical hit which is never a bad thing. Again, I wouldn’t count on your evade ability so don’t worry about this one.
Wounds: This increases your hit points. ALWAYS good!
Toughness: Reduces all damage taken. This will help you survive long enough to kill!

Tactics
You’re soft and squishy. Very soft. Very squishy. This means that if you plan on living for more than a few seconds you need to keep that in your head.

In solo PvE you need to make sure that you can cut down a mob with your superior damage before they get more than a few shots in. In Warhammer Online, PvE and PvP are good ways to collect War money and experience (War power-leveling). When in the wild, keeping to monsters that are the same level as yourself or lower will ensure you make it out of most fights alive. Because of your impressive damage, standing at maximum attack range before beginning a fight will effectively give you 2 or even 3 ‘free shots’ before a monster can get to you. This is a great, if not honorable, strategy when dealing with particularly difficult monsters.

In group PvE you need to make sure that unless you’re battling along side only other soft and squishies, that you hold off on the superior DPS until the tank has a chance to gain a bit of agro. Usually, players are allow gain War gold and other rewards after you have wined PvE. Pulling agro off a boss will pretty well mean your death, so watch those crits and high damage spells! You do have spells that decrease agro against a mob, but relying on those as a boss or other mob is charging at you isn’t always the best plan, especially if your reaction time is like mine!

In RvR you need to be near the back. Plain and simple. While you’re standing there nuking Order members it is highly unlikely that you won’t find yourself their main target in very short order. Tanks and other ‘meatier’ characters are on your side for a reason.

If you get caught off guard or jumped, you will likely die. You might get a shot or two off so you won’t feel completely useless, but at the end of the day, you need to be perched, you need to play smart, and you have to stay awake.
